Research Experience:

Cheng-Hsing Hsu, Ph.D. was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1974. Hsu received his B.S. degree in electronic engineering from Fu Jen Catholic University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1997 and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan, in 1999 and 2003, respectively. From 2003 to 2005, Hsu worked as a Principal Engineer with the Nano-Device Research Department, Macronix International Co., Ltd. where he was engaged in the novel nonvolatile memory materials and devices technology.  In 2005, he joined the Faculty of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Da-Yeh University, Chang-Hua, Taiwan. In 2005, Hsu was an Assistant Professor of Department of Electrical Engineering, National United University, Miao-Li, Taiwan. Since 2008, Hsu has been an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National United University, Miao-Li, Taiwan. Since 2013, Hsu has been a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Ph. D. Program in Materials and Chemical Engineering, National United University, Miao-Li, Taiwan. His research interests include dielectric ceramics, thin film technology, planar antenna design, microwave passive components, nonvolatile memory devices, thermoelectric materials and optoelectronic materials. In 2007 and 2008, he has been a Member for American Ceramics Society and The Electrochemistry Society, respectively.  In 2009, He was also a member of IEEE Electron Devices Society, Dielectrics and Electrical Insulation Society, Antenna and Propagation Society, Microwave Theory and Techniques Society and Ultrasonics, Ferroelectrics, and Frequency Control Society.
